Digital literacy and task complexity survey: Final call to join

Healthcare professionals execute a wide range of functions, making their work more complex than ever before. Digital technologies help people do their jobs better. Healthcare professionals, including those in management and leadership roles, must embrace digital literacy in order to leverage what digital technologies offer.

Tito Yustiawan, one of my PhD students, is studying the relationship between digital literacy, task complexity, information quality, and hospital information system utilisation, from the perspective of those in management and leadership positions. This study began six months ago, and we are still looking for 30 additional participants to fulfil our goal of 100. Follow this QR code to get to the survey.

The survey results will be used to gain a better understanding of the job complexity encountered by New Zealand hospital managers and leaders while executing their duties and working with hospital information systems. We will also learn how tech-savvy our health managers and leaders are. On July 7, 2023, the survey will be closed.

Who qualifies to complete the survey? You qualify to complete the survey if you:
– Work in a hospital
– Work as a manager or leader, e.g., chief executive, director, head of division, team leader
– Are a clinician (or not) in a management or leadership role
– Have 20 minutes to complete the survey
– Have not completed the survey in response to an invitation via your hospital
