Painting gallery

I love to paint pictures, but I’m too impatient to wait for paint to dry. Pastel has been a life-long love of mine – the chalk is so easy to apply, I can work as fast or slow as I want, and best of all, I can easily work over mistakes or change something that doesn’t work. I’m beginning to think that a painting is a series of corrections of mistakes.

First I create the outline of the design of my picture. Then I make my first mistake, usually involving the basic palette of colours. As I correct that mistake I create more of the picture and make more mistakes, which I correct.

Here is a collection of my pictures.
