One week to go until the HiNZ Health Hackathon

What’s happening when?
On Friday 26 June we will be serving snacks and coffee in the School of Design atrium from 5.30pm so come along early and enjoy the networking. Everyone who attends on Friday night will go in the draw to win an HP 8G2 tablet donated by Hewlett Packard. The lucky winner will be announced during Friday evening.

What else do you need to know?

• On Friday there are short welcome speeches at 6.30pm then anyone with an idea is invited to make a 1 minute pitch and seek team members.
• After the pitches there will be more networking and snacks as teams meet and form.
• Expert mentors will be on hand throughout the event to provide advice and support.
• A free coffee cart will be at the event all weekend! This has been generously provided by the University of Otago Wellington. So getting your coffee fix will be easy. No need to brave the cold weather outside.
• On Sunday at 3pm, each team presents their concept to the judges and they choose the winning team.
• While we wait for the judges to make a decision, we all get to enjoy the complimentary wine and beer provided by sponsor IWantMyName.
• The winning team then receive much applause and adulation, plus the opportunity to attend a free workshop donated by the Akina Foundation and Navigator Limited.
