Today it’s the 13th of January and the hachathon is exactly one calendar month away. Only 31 days to go!
We have 31 people registered to attend. If you’re waiting till closer to the weekend to register you may miss out on a place in the hackathon, because there are only 90 places. Register now!
It’s going to be fun, creative, and productive. The weekend will start with Professor Ngaire Kerse, Head of the School of Population Health at The University of Auckland, declaring the hackathon open. Liz Schoff, the HiNZ Chair, will also be there to open the event. After the housekeeping information has been shared (all that stuff about where the toilets are, what to do in the unlikely event of a fire and so on) people will be invited to pitch their ideas and collect their teams and go off and start working.
